Although not engineered specifically for radiation applications, the borosilicate autosampler glass vials should easily withstand typical laboratory sterility radiation exposure in short duration applications such as irradiating biologicals and similar without suffering structural damage. It is important to note that the glass may discolor or may become cloudy.
Any MicroSolv vial should not be used for high-energy or long duration radiation use as the glass substrate will fog, crack, or induce other defects which may not be readily obvious until further handling or treatment. You may want to test the vials before you proceed. Carefully test a small quantity of vials prior to adopting for routine use.
