Normal Phase Chromatography
Using Normal Phase Solvents:

• Most retained compounds are most polar.
• Least retained compounds are less polar.
• More Non Polar Solvents make compounds retain longer. 

Reversed Phase Chromatography
Using Reverse Phase Solvents:

• Most retained compounds are least polar.
• Least retained compounds are most polar.
• More Polar Solvents (water) Make compounds retain longer. 


Aqueous Normal Phase Chromatography ANP
Using Reversed Phase Solvents:
• Most retained compounds are most polar.
• Least retained compounds are less polar.
• More Non Polar Solvents make compounds retain longer.
