The MicroSolv Window Maker™ is designed for removing a thin film of polyimide from fused quartz silica tubing with 365um OD and ID of 25, 50, 75, 100 and 125um for use in Capillary Electrophoresis. We cannot say if the device will function to your specifications with other products as we are not familiar with them.

While we do not recommend this product to be used outside of its intended use, others have been successful removing polyimide from glass and some metal fiber and wire while others have not. Officially, this use is not supported by MicroSolv and the unit would not be considered defective if it does not work and therefore not returnable.
