If you're using qualification solutions from the Chemical Solutions HSQ™, UV-vis™, or PQ™ Kits, it is acceptable to use solutions from different lot numbers, but only under specific conditions.

✅ Acceptable Use:

• You may use different lots for different solution types. For example, it's acceptable to use one lot number for the L1–L6 linearity solutions and a different lot for the HOX solution, especially if one has a longer expiration date.

❌ Not Acceptable:

• You cannot mix lot numbers within the L1–L6 linearity set. These solutions are calibrated and validated to work as a matched set for UV detector linearity testing. Mixing lots within this group may compromise the accuracy and integrity of your qualification data.

🔍 Why this matters:

• The L1–L6 solutions are designed to produce a precise absorbance curve across a defined concentration range. Consistency across the set is critical for valid linearity assessment.

• Using solutions from the same kit typically avoids this issue, as all components are supplied with matching expiration dates.
