Note: 4-(Methyamino)butyric acid is a GABA (gamma Aminobutyric Acid) derivative and product of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidione.  It inhibits L-Carnitine from undergoing beta-oxidation in mammals.  In bacteria it is a product of nicotine catabolism.  It is found in skin products to prevent wrinkles.
