Yes, the Window Makers™ and all components used in their construction are RoHS compliant.

RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive. The directive mandates that RoHS compliant goods restrict the amounts of hazardous materials used in the components, namely lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, poly brominated biphenyls (PBB), and poly brominated diphenyl ether (PBDE). Each hazardous substance may be present in no more than 0.1% by weight for a given component (0.01% for cadmium). These limits represent the maximum thresholds for the individual components, not the final product. The directive helps ensure consumer safety by restricting the levels of these substances in electronic consumer goods.
