Importance of drilling holes precisely on Beta Tools- INTERNAL ONLY

The Beta Tools™ are pairs of precision pliers for straightening and removing kinks in 1/8th or 1/16th inch stainless steel tubing and there is a great importance of ensuring the center holes are drilled correctly. These precision-drilled holes are important to create correctly each and every time as they have to be "dead center" for them to work properly.
The image below illustrates the significance of correctly drilling the Beta Tool for its intended use. Both of these tools have 1/8th inch tubing in the holes for straightening. On the left, you can see a Beta Tool that was improperly drilled with a 1/8" tubing hole and the pliers does not bear down properly on the tubing which allows for crushing.
The original holes were deemed unsatisfactory due to their small diameter, preventing full surface contact with the outer diameter of the tubing.
On the right, the holes have been re-drilled using tungsten carbide tips of the appropriate size. This demonstrates how full contact with the tubing should be achieved.
