What's the difference between the Cogent Cyano RP and Cyano NP? What does "Specially-formulated" Cyano Material mean?
Cyano RP is stored in 100% Acetonitrile. Cyano NP is stored in 100% Heptane. They are the same phase, just pre-conditioned to accept the intended mobile phase for the Method.
The Special Formula is due to a difunctional bond where most all other commercial Cyano Phases are monofunctional, making the Cogent Cyano more robust – especially when used in Aqueous Conditions.
The Surface Chemistry is the same on all phases.
