Question: I am using a PTFE Knitted Reactor Coil KRC with 10m length and 0.75mm ID with isopropanol as the fluid I am pumping. What is the maximum flow rate I can use under these conditions?
Answer: At ambient temperature, you should operate at no more than 10mL / minute with isopropanol in order to stay within the mechanical stability specifications of the KRC tubing. Ramp up the flow rate slowly from zero in order to avoid a sudden high pressure.
