We hereby confirm that our PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy), and FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) tubing products are in full compliance with the RoHS EU Directive 2011/65/EU and its amendment (EU) 2015/863 regarding the restriction of hazardous substances.
The RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU, also known as RoHS 2, restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment to protect human health and the environment. The amendment (EU) 2015/863, commonly referred to as RoHS 3, further expands the list of restricted substances to include four additional phthalates.
Our PTFE, PFA, and FEP tubing products do not contain any of the restricted substances listed in Annex II of the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU and its amendment (EU) 2015/863, including:
- Lead (Pb)
- Mercury (Hg)
- Cadmium (Cd)
- Hexavalent Chromium (Cr6+)
- Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB)
- Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE)
- Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) Phthalate (DEHP)
- Benzyl Butyl Phthalate (BBP)
- Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP)
- Diisobutyl Phthalate (DIBP)
