82561-SP-PG1 Guard Column Cartridges are packed with 5 µm NP Silica™ stationary phase manufactured from ultra-high purity, low-metal-content 100 Å silica. This unmodified silica stationary phase provides the traditional selectivity associated with USP L3 classified materials, making these cartridges ideal for use with Cogent NP Silica™ semi-preparative columns. Packed in stainless steel cartridges with stainless steel frits, they are designed to intercept contaminants before they reach the primary separation column.
The 10 mm ID x 10 mm format is specifically designed for use with compatible 10 mm ID semi-preparative column systems operating in HILIC and normal-phase modes. Routine guard cartridge replacement helps maintain column efficiency, reduce downtime, and extend semi-preparative column service life.
