Cogent NP Silica™ HPLC Columns are designed for normal-phase and HILIC separations of polar and hydrophilic compounds. Manufactured from ultra-high purity, low-metal-content 100 Å silica, this stationary phase is completely unmodified, providing the selectivity associated with USP L3 classified columns. NP Silica™ columns are widely used in established methods and new method development where traditional silica selectivity is required.
82561-15P-4 is packed with 5 µm NP Silica™ particles in a 4.0 mm ID x 150 mm format. The 5 µm particle size provides excellent chromatographic performance while maintaining lower operating backpressures compared to smaller particle columns. The 150 mm column length offers increased resolving power and improved peak separation, making it suitable for demanding analytical methods and complex sample matrices.
The 4.0 mm ID x 150 mm format is well suited for HILIC applications, normal-phase chromatography, pharmaceutical analysis, quality control testing, and method development involving polar and hydrophilic compounds. Typical flow rates are approximately 0.8-1.2 mL/min depending on mobile phase composition and application requirements.
