Cogent NP Silica™ HPLC Columns are designed for normal-phase and HILIC separations of polar and hydrophilic compounds. Manufactured from ultra-high purity, low-metal-content 100 Å silica, this stationary phase is completely unmodified, providing the selectivity associated with USP L3 classified columns. NP Silica™ columns are widely used in established methods and new method development where traditional silica selectivity is required.
82561-05P-4 is packed with 5 µm NP Silica™ particles in a 4.0 mm ID x 50 mm format. The 5 µm particle size provides excellent chromatographic performance while maintaining lower operating backpressures compared to smaller particle columns. The short 50 mm length is ideal for rapid analyses, method scouting, and high-throughput workflows where fast separations are desired.
The 4.0 mm ID x 50 mm format is well suited for HILIC applications, normal-phase chromatography, routine analytical testing, pharmaceutical analysis, and method development. Typical flow rates are approximately 0.8-1.2 mL/min depending on mobile phase composition and application requirements.
