HPLC Column, NP Silica, 10um, 4.0mm ID x 50mm Length, 100A. Cogent Brand. 1 EA. Special Order Item.
Additional Information:
Cogent NP Silica™ HPLC Columns are designed for the separation of hydrophilic and polar compounds using Normal Phase and HILIC chromatography modes. Manufactured from ultra-high purity, low metal content 100Å silica that is not chemically modified, this stationary phase provides the native silica selectivity required for many traditional Normal Phase and HILIC applications. NP Silica™ is widely used as an alternative for USP L3 methods and for developing new analytical, preparative, and purification methods requiring the unique retention characteristics of unbonded silica.
82061-05P-4 is packed with 10 µm NP Silica™ particles in a 4.0 mm ID x 50 mm analytical format. The larger 10 µm particle size generates substantially lower backpressure than smaller particle columns, allowing operation at higher flow rates while maintaining dependable chromatographic performance. The short 50 mm length is ideal for rapid method development, fast screening studies, and solvent-efficient scouting applications.
NP Silica™ 10 µm columns are very often used as scouting columns for preparative chromatography, purification methods, and process scale-up projects. The 50 mm format enables rapid evaluation of retention, selectivity, and mobile phase conditions before transferring methods to larger preparative and purification columns. Because the stationary phase chemistry remains consistent, methods developed on this column can often be scaled directly to larger ID preparative and purification columns with predictable chromatographic behavior, helping reduce development time and improve scale-up efficiency.
