Cogent NP Diol™ Semi-Prep HPLC Columns are designed for purification of polar and hydrophilic compounds using Normal Phase and HILIC chromatographic modes. Manufactured using ultra-high purity silica bonded with a short hydrocarbon ligand containing a terminal diol functional group, this stationary phase provides reproducible retention characteristics and selectivity for compounds that may be difficult to retain or purify using traditional reversed-phase methods. NP Diol™ is often selected as an alternative to unmodified silica columns when improved stability and polar selectivity are desired.

82060-SP50 is packed with 10 µm NP Diol™ particles in a 10 mm ID x 50 mm semi-preparative format with a 100Å pore size. The 10 µm particle size is well suited for semi-preparative chromatography, providing lower operating backpressure while allowing higher flow rates and increased sample loading compared to analytical columns. The 10 mm internal diameter provides excellent loading capacity, while the short 50 mm column length is ideal for rapid purification, fraction screening, and method development applications.

The NP Diol™ stationary phase is non-end-capped and is ideal for purification of hydrophilic and polar compounds using either Normal Phase or HILIC conditions.
