Cogent NP Diol™ Process HPLC Columns are designed for high-capacity purification of polar and hydrophilic compounds using Normal Phase and HILIC chromatographic modes. Manufactured using ultra-high purity silica bonded with a short hydrocarbon ligand containing a terminal diol functional group, this stationary phase provides reproducible retention characteristics and selectivity for compounds that may be difficult to purify using traditional reversed-phase methods. NP Diol™ is often selected as an alternative to unmodified silica columns when improved stability and polar selectivity are desired.
82060-P50-100 is packed with 10 µm NP Diol™ particles in a 50 mm ID x 100 mm process-scale format with a 100Å pore size. The 10 µm particle size is well suited for high-throughput purification, providing lower operating backpressure while allowing high mobile phase flow rates and substantial sample loading capacity. The 50 mm internal diameter provides significant loading capacity for scale-up applications, making this column ideal for process chromatography, production-scale purification, and large-batch separations.
The NP Diol™ stationary phase is non-end-capped and is ideal for purification of hydrophilic and polar compounds using either Normal Phase or HILIC conditions. The large-diameter process column format supports efficient scale-up from preparative methods while providing excellent productivity for routine purification, fraction collection, and manufacturing workflows.
