Cogent NP Diol™ Preparative HPLC Columns are designed for high-capacity purification of polar and hydrophilic compounds using Normal Phase and HILIC chromatographic modes. Manufactured using ultra-high purity silica bonded with a short hydrocarbon ligand containing a terminal diol functional group, this stationary phase provides reproducible retention characteristics and selectivity for compounds that may be difficult to purify using traditional reversed-phase methods. NP Diol™ is often selected as an alternative to unmodified silica columns when improved stability and polar selectivity are desired.
82060-P30-100 is packed with 10 µm NP Diol™ particles in a 30 mm ID x 100 mm preparative format with a 100Å pore size. The 10 µm particle size is well suited for preparative chromatography, providing lower operating backpressure while allowing high mobile phase flow rates and substantial sample loading capacity. The 30 mm internal diameter offers significantly greater loading capacity than smaller preparative columns, making it ideal for purification workflows requiring larger sample loads and increased throughput.
The NP Diol™ stationary phase is non-end-capped and is ideal for purification of hydrophilic and polar compounds using either Normal Phase or HILIC conditions. The large-diameter preparative format enables efficient scale-up from analytical and semi-preparative methods while supporting compound isolation and fraction collection. This column is frequently used when higher productivity and preparative purification performance are required.
