Manufactured using ultra-high purity silica bonded with a short hydrocarbon ligand containing a terminal diol functional group, this stationary phase provides reproducible retention characteristics and selectivity for compounds that may be difficult to purify using traditional reversed-phase methods. NP Diol™ is often selected as an alternative to unmodified silica columns when improved stability and polar selectivity are desired.

82060-P21-250 is packed with 10 µm NP Diol™ particles in a 21.2 mm ID x 250 mm preparative format with a 100Å pore size. The 10 µm particle size is well suited for preparative chromatography, providing lower operating backpressure while allowing high mobile phase flow rates and significant sample loading capacity. The 21.2 mm internal diameter and 250 mm length provide excellent purification throughput for laboratory-scale preparative HPLC applications.

The NP Diol™ stationary phase is non-end-capped and is ideal for purification of hydrophilic and polar compounds using either Normal Phase or HILIC conditions.
