68540-SP-PG1-3 is packed with 5 µm NP Amino™ Wide Pore particles in a 10 mm ID x 10 mm guard cartridge format with a 300Å pore size. Manufactured using a three-carbon propyl ligand containing a terminal amino functional group bonded to the highest purity silica available, this stationary phase is not end capped and provides the same selectivity characteristics as Cogent NP Amino™ Wide Pore semi-preparative columns. The wide pore structure improves accessibility for larger molecules, making it especially suitable for complex sugars, larger polar compounds, and analytes containing carboxylic acid functionalities.
