Cogent NP Amino™ Wide Pore Process HPLC Columns are designed for large-scale purification of larger polar compounds using Normal Phase and HILIC chromatographic modes. Manufactured using the highest purity silica available bonded with a three-carbon propyl ligand containing a terminal amino functional group, this stationary phase provides unique selectivity for negatively charged and highly polar analytes. NP Amino™ Wide Pore is particularly effective for purification of complex carbohydrates, larger sugars, and compounds containing carboxylic acid functionalities.

68540-P50-1503M is packed with 5 µm NP Amino™ Wide Pore particles in a 50 mm ID x 150 mm process-scale format with a 300Å pore size. The 5 µm particle size provides excellent chromatographic efficiency and resolution while maintaining the very high loading capacity required for process-scale purification. The 300Å pore structure enhances analyte accessibility for larger molecules, while the combination of a 50 mm internal diameter and 150 mm length provides an ideal balance of throughput, loading capacity, and chromatographic performance.

The NP Amino™ Wide Pore stationary phase is not end capped and is optimized for purification of larger polar compounds using either Normal Phase or HILIC conditions. The wide pore structure improves retention and mass transfer for complex sugars and larger molecules containing carboxylic acid groups. These columns are packed and shipped in Normal Phase solvents and are frequently selected when enhanced loading capacity, improved accessibility, and superior process-scale purification performance are required.
