Cogent NP Amino™ Process HPLC Columns are designed for high-capacity purification of polar compounds using Normal Phase and HILIC chromatographic modes. Manufactured using world-class silica bonded with a three-carbon propyl ligand containing a terminal amino functional group, this stationary phase provides unique selectivity for negatively charged and highly polar analytes. NP Amino™ is widely used for process-scale separations involving carbohydrates, organic acids, and other polar compounds that can be difficult to retain using conventional reversed-phase chromatography.

68540-P50-150 is packed with 5 µm NP Amino™ particles in a 50 mm ID x 150 mm process-scale format with a 100Å pore size. The 5 µm particle size provides excellent chromatographic efficiency and resolution while maintaining the very high loading capacity required for process-scale purification. The combination of a 50 mm internal diameter and 150 mm length offers an ideal balance of throughput, loading capacity, and chromatographic performance for pilot-scale and production-oriented purification workflows.

The NP Amino™ stationary phase is not end capped and is commonly used for purification of sugars, compounds containing carboxylic acid functionalities, and other negatively charged or highly polar analytes. These columns are suitable for both Normal Phase and HILIC separations and are shipped in Normal Phase solvents. The process-scale format enables efficient transfer from preparative methods while supporting high-throughput purification and manufacturing applications.
