Manufactured using ultra-high purity silica bonded with a three-carbon linker and terminal Phenyl functionality, this stationary phase is fully double end-capped to minimize secondary interactions and provide highly reproducible chromatographic performance. RP Phenyl™ offers enhanced aromatic selectivity and is an excellent choice for separations involving compounds containing phenyl rings and related structures.

68524-SP100 is packed with 5 µm RP Phenyl™ particles featuring a 100Å pore size in a 10 mm ID x 100 mm semi-preparative format. The 5 µm particle size performs well at higher flow rates while maintaining moderate operating backpressure. The larger internal diameter provides increased loading capacity compared to analytical columns, making this column ideal for purification, fraction collection, and analytical-to-semi-preparative method scale-up.

The 10 mm ID x 100 mm format is particularly well suited for purification of positional isomers, tocopherols, flavonoids, polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons, nitro-aromatic compounds, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), natural products, and related compounds containing aromatic structures. Typical operating flow rates are approximately 4–8 mL/min depending on mobile phase composition, system pressure limitations, and application requirements. A semi-preparative HPLC system capable of supporting these flow rates and sample loads is required.
