The large internal diameter provides substantial sample loading capacity, while the shorter column length helps reduce run times and solvent consumption, making this column ideal for rapid preparative purifications and method scale-up.

The 21.2 mm ID x 50 mm format is particularly well suited for purification of positional isomers, tocopherols, flavonoids, polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons, nitro-aromatic compounds, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), natural products, and related compounds containing aromatic structures.
