Cogent RP Phenyl™ HPLC Columns are designed for reversed-phase separations where aromatic selectivity is beneficial. Manufactured using ultra-high purity silica bonded with a three-carbon linker and terminal phenyl functionality, this stationary phase is fully double end-capped to reduce secondary interactions and provide highly reproducible chromatographic performance. RP Phenyl™ is an excellent alternative for USP L11 methods and is commonly selected for both established methods and new method development.
68524-05P-4 is packed with 5 µm RP Phenyl™ particles featuring a 100 Å pore size in a 4.0 mm ID x 50 mm format. The 5 µm particle size provides excellent chromatographic efficiency while maintaining lower operating backpressures than smaller particle columns. The short 50 mm column length is ideal for rapid analyses, method screening, and high-throughput laboratories where minimizing run times is important.
The 4.0 mm ID x 50 mm format is well suited for aromatic and structurally related compounds in reversed-phase HPLC. Typical flow rates are approximately 0.8-1.2 mL/min depending on mobile phase composition and application requirements.
