The 48220-08 Mobile Phase Filter is a high-capacity 316L stainless steel solvent inlet filter designed for efficient removal of large particulates while maintaining excellent solvent flow in HPLC systems. Built for durability and high throughput, it helps protect pumps, columns, and instrumentation from contamination.

The 20 µm pore size removes larger undissolved particles while delivering very low flow resistance, making it ideal for maximizing solvent uptake and minimizing vacuum load compared to finer porosity filters.

Each filter is passivated with a 30% nitric acid treatment, improving corrosion resistance and ensuring compatibility with a wide range of HPLC mobile phases.

Designed for 1/8 inch tubing, each unit includes PEEK connection components for secure and reliable low-pressure connections.

Installation
