ARE-Applied Research FEP (Fluoroethylene Propylene) tubing is designed for low-pressure fluid transfer applications requiring excellent chemical resistance, flexibility, and reliable flow characteristics. Often referred to as Teflon™ FEP tubing, it is commonly selected for Ion Chromatography applications but is equally suitable for numerous laboratory fluid handling applications including mobile phase delivery, solvent transfer, and waste line management in HPLC systems.
48410-40-C is supplied as a 25-meter continuous roll of natural translucent FEP tubing with a 0.040 inch (1.0 mm) internal diameter and 1/16 inch (1.6 mm) outer diameter. For improved handling, storage, and dispensing, this tubing length is supplied on a convenient spool. The larger internal diameter provides increased flow capacity for fluid transfer applications while maintaining chemical resistance and flexibility.
The translucent tubing wall allows visual monitoring of fluid movement while maintaining excellent compatibility with many laboratory solvents and reagents.
Do not use this tubing at temperatures exceeding 80°C.
