9502S‑04N inserts are manufactured from first hydrolytic, Class A, Type 33 borosilicate glass and feature a mandrel‑formed precision conical tip for efficient sample concentration and excellent recovery. With a residual volume of approximately 5 µL in most autosamplers, these inserts are designed to provide reliable performance in routine analytical applications.
A unique 6 mm flange at the top of the insert suspends it from the vial opening rather than positioning it at the bottom. This design centers the insert at the top of the vial and allows it to seal directly against the cap septa when used with AQ Brand 9 mm screw thread vials. This eliminates the need for springs while improving sealing consistency and alignment during injection.
