The Soft‑Guard™ silicone formulation reduces penetration force while maintaining strong resealing characteristics, helping extend instrument uptime and reduce missed injections in demanding workflows.
The X‑shape pre‑slit configuration provides a larger needle strike zone, making it easier to align and penetrate the septa—especially beneficial for autosampler systems such as Waters® Alliance and Acquity. While this design improves ease of penetration, it offers slightly reduced resealing compared to single‑slit septa.
