The 9502C‑20CY Snap Caps feature a red PTFE / white silicone / red PTFE septa configuration originally designed for legacy autosampler systems such as Agilent 1050 instruments. This design enhances needle wiping during injection, helping remove residual sample and improve overall system cleanliness.
In addition to improved wiping performance, the multi‑layer septa provides modestly improved resealing compared to standard silicone/PTFE septa.
