The 9502C‑20CG Snap Caps feature a red PTFE / white silicone / red PTFE septa configuration originally developed for legacy autosampler systems such as Agilent 1050 instruments. This design enhances needle wiping during injection, helping remove residual sample and improve overall system cleanliness.
In addition to improved needle wiping, the multi‑layer septa provides modestly improved resealing compared to standard silicone/PTFE septa. The green polyethylene cap supports clear identification and workflow organization while maintaining ease of use in HPLC and LC‑MS environments.
