The 9502C‑20CB Snap Caps feature a red PTFE / white silicone / red PTFE septa configuration that was originally designed for older autosampler systems such as Agilent 1050 instruments. This design enhances needle wiping during injection, helping remove residual sample from the needle and improving overall system cleanliness.
In addition to improved wiping, the multi-layer septa provides a modest improvement in resealing compared to standard silicone/PTFE septa. The smooth blue polyethylene cap allows easy application and removal while supporting reliable performance across HPLC and LC‑MS workflows.
