Additional Info:

Maximize recovery and minimize adsorption for ultra‑low volume, high‑sensitivity analytical workflows.

95001‑04ND inserts are manufactured from first hydrolytic, Class A, Type 33 borosilicate glass and undergo a deactivation (silanization) process to reduce active surface sites. This treatment significantly improves recovery of polar and adsorption‑prone analytes while maintaining excellent consistency and durability through a thicker wall design and mandrel‑formed precision tip.

The high‑precision conical tip concentrates the sample at the bottom, enabling reliable needle access and consistent injection performance even with very small volumes. These inserts provide approximately 50 µL usable volume with a residual volume near 2 µL in most autosamplers. Polypropylene springs ensure proper centering within the vial, reducing needle misalignment and minimizing the risk of insert breakage during operation.

Manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility, these inserts deliver consistent performance batch‑to‑batch. Their versatile design allows compatibility across multiple vial formats while maintaining optimal recovery and reproducibility for demanding LC‑MS and HPLC applications.

Key Benefits

  • 200 µL total fill volume for controlled sample handling

  • ~50 µL usable volume for ultra‑low volume workflows

  • ~2 µL residual volume for maximum recovery

  • Deactivated (silanized) surface reduces adsorption

  • Precision conical tip improves injection accuracy

  • Thicker glass walls enhance durability and consistency

  • Spring‑mounted design ensures proper centering

  • Reduced risk of needle damage and insert breakage

Typical Applications

  • LC‑MS and LC‑MS/MS analysis

  • HPLC and UHPLC workflows

  • Adsorption‑sensitive and low concentration analytes

  • Pharmaceutical and bioanalytical testing

  • High‑value or limited sample applications

Compatibility

  • Compatible with:

    • 8 × 40 mm push top (“96 position”) vials

    • 9 mm threaded screw top vials

    • 11 mm snap top vials

Performance and Design Notes

  • Deactivation improves recovery vs untreated glass inserts

  • Mandrel‑formed tip ensures consistent geometry

  • Thicker glass enhances mechanical strength

  • Spring alignment improves autosampler accuracy

  • Formerly catalog number 9502S‑01ND

Important Notes

  • Ideal for ultra‑low volume and adsorption‑prone samples

  • Provides superior recovery compared to standard inserts

  • “96 position” refers to vial size compatibility, not plate format

  • Designed for reproducible, high‑sensitivity workflows
