82561-PG2 Guard Column Cartridges are packed with 5 µm NP Silica™ stationary phase manufactured from ultra-high purity, low-metal-content 100 Å silica. This unmodified silica stationary phase provides the traditional selectivity associated with USP L3 classified materials, making these cartridges ideal for use with Cogent NP Silica™ analytical HPLC columns. Each cartridge is packed in a stainless steel tube with stainless steel frits secured within durable PEEK frit caps for reliable performance and long service life.

The 4.0 mm ID x 10 mm format is specifically designed to protect 3.0 mm, 4.0 mm, and 4.6 mm ID analytical columns used in HILIC and normal-phase chromatography. Routine guard cartridge replacement helps maintain analytical column efficiency, minimize downtime, and extend column service life.
