Manufactured from ultra-high purity, low-metal-content 100 Å silica, this stationary phase is completely unmodified, providing the selectivity associated with USP L3 classified columns. NP Silica™ columns are widely used in established methods and new method development where traditional silica selectivity is required.
82561-10P-2 is packed with 5 µm NP Silica™ particles in a 2.1 mm ID x 100 mm format. The narrow internal diameter reduces solvent consumption while providing the traditional selectivity expected from unmodified silica. The 100 mm length offers an excellent balance of chromatographic efficiency and analysis time, making it suitable for routine analytical applications and method development.
The 2.1 mm ID x 100 mm format is well suited for HILIC applications, normal-phase chromatography, pharmaceutical analysis, quality control testing, and method development. Typical flow rates are approximately 0.2-0.3 mL/min. Standard HPLC systems used with 2.1 mm ID columns must be capable of delivering stable and reproducible low flow rates for optimum chromatographic performance.
