HPLC Column, NP Diol, 5um, 2.1mm ID x 100mm Length, 100A. Cogent Brand. 1 EA.

Additional Information:

Cogent NP Diol™ HPLC Columns are designed for normal-phase and HILIC separations of polar and hydrophilic compounds. Manufactured using ultra-high purity silica bonded with a short hydrocarbon ligand containing a terminal diol functional group, this stationary phase provides reproducible retention, excellent stability, and broad solvent compatibility. The non-endcapped surface chemistry offers selectivity consistent with USP L20 classifications, making it an excellent choice for both established methods and new method development.

82560-10P-2 is packed with 5 µm NP Diol™ particles featuring a 100 Å pore size in a 2.1 mm ID x 100 mm format. The narrow internal diameter reduces solvent consumption and makes this column highly suitable for LC-MS applications while providing improved resolving power compared to shorter columns. NP Diol™ columns are frequently selected as alternatives to unmodified silica columns because they often provide greater robustness and compatibility with a wider range of solvents while maintaining similar retention characteristics for many applications.

The 2.1 mm ID x 100 mm format is ideal for HILIC separations, normal-phase chromatography, LC-MS methods, pharmaceutical analysis, and method development involving hydrophilic compounds. Typical flow rates are approximately 0.2-0.3 mL/min. Standard HPLC systems used with 2.1 mm ID columns must be capable of delivering stable and reproducible low flow rates for optimum chromatographic performance.
