HPLC Column, NP Silica, Wide Pore, 3um, 2.1mm ID x 150mm Length, 300A. Cogent Brand. 1 EA.
Additional Information:
Cogent NP Silica™ Wide Pore HPLC Columns are designed for the separation of large hydrophilic and polar compounds using Normal Phase and HILIC chromatography modes. Manufactured from ultra-high purity, low metal content 300Å silica that is not chemically modified, this stationary phase provides the native silica selectivity required for challenging separations involving larger molecules. NP Silica™ Wide Pore is widely used as an alternative for USP L3 methods involving biomolecules and other high molecular weight compounds, as well as for new analytical method development.
82361-15P-2-3M is packed with 3 µm NP Silica™ Wide Pore particles in a 2.1 mm ID x 150 mm analytical format. The narrow-bore design significantly reduces solvent consumption while maintaining excellent chromatographic performance. The 3 µm particle size delivers higher chromatographic efficiency and sharper peak shapes than comparable 5 µm columns, although increased operating backpressure should be expected. The 150 mm column length provides enhanced resolution and peak capacity for demanding separations involving large molecules and complex sample matrices.
NP Silica™ Wide Pore is commonly used for large hydrophilic and polar compounds in both HILIC and Normal Phase chromatography. Because the stationary phase is completely unmodified, it provides the classic selectivity associated with bare silica while the 300Å pore structure improves accessibility for larger analytes. This format is particularly useful for proteins, peptides, biomolecules, and other compounds that may experience restricted pore access with conventional pore-size silica materials.
