Cogent NP Silica™ HPLC Columns are designed for the separation of hydrophilic and polar compounds using Normal Phase and HILIC chromatography modes. Manufactured from ultra-high purity, low metal content 100Å silica that is not chemically modified, this stationary phase provides the native silica selectivity required for many traditional Normal Phase and HILIC applications. NP Silica™ is widely used as an alternative for USP L3 methods and for new analytical methods requiring the unique retention characteristics of unbonded silica.

82361-05P is packed with 3 µm NP Silica™ particles in a 4.6 mm ID x 50 mm analytical format. The short 50 mm length is optimized for rapid analysis, method development, and high-throughput screening workflows. The 3 µm particle size delivers higher chromatographic efficiency and sharper peak shapes than comparable 5 µm columns, although increased operating backpressure should be expected.
