82061-PG2 is packed with 10 µm NP Silica™ particles in a 4.0 mm ID x 10 mm guard cartridge format. Designed for use with 3.0 mm, 4.0 mm, and 4.6 mm ID NP Silica™ analytical columns, these guard cartridges are housed in stainless steel tubes with stainless steel frits pressed into durable PEEK frit caps. They capture particulates and strongly retained compounds before they reach the analytical column, helping preserve performance and extend column life.
Regular guard cartridge replacement can significantly reduce operating costs while protecting valuable analytical columns used in HILIC and Normal Phase chromatography.
