68540-PG1-3 is packed with 5 µm NP Amino™ Wide Pore particles in a 2.1 mm ID x 10 mm guard cartridge format with a 300Å pore size. Manufactured using a three-carbon propyl ligand containing a terminal amino functional group bonded to the highest purity silica available, this stationary phase is not end capped and provides the same selectivity characteristics as Cogent NP Amino™ Wide Pore analytical columns. The 300Å pore structure improves accessibility for larger molecules, making it particularly effective for protecting columns used in the analysis of complex sugars, biomolecules, and other larger polar compounds.
Designed specifically for use with 2.1 mm ID NP Amino™ Wide Pore analytical columns, these guard cartridges help prevent contamination from sample particulates and strongly adsorbed compounds before they reach the analytical column.
