HPLC Column, RP Cyano, Wide Pore, 5um, 2.1mm ID x 100mm Length, 300A. Cogent Brand. 1 EA.

Additional Information:

Cogent RP Cyano™ Wide Pore HPLC Columns are designed for reversed-phase separations of larger polar and neutral compounds where alternative selectivity to traditional alkyl-bonded phases is desired. Manufactured using ultra-high purity silica bonded with a three-carbon ligand and terminal Cyano functionality, this stationary phase provides unique chromatographic characteristics that make it an excellent choice for USP L10 methods involving larger molecules and LC-MS applications. The 300Å wide pore structure improves analyte accessibility while maintaining the distinct selectivity of Cyano chemistry.

68534-10P-2-3M is packed with 5 µm RP Cyano™ Wide Pore particles in a 2.1 mm ID x 100 mm format with a 300Å pore size. The 5 µm particle size provides low operating backpressure and excellent reproducibility for LC-MS compatible methods. The 2.1 mm ID format reduces solvent consumption while improving mass spectrometry sensitivity. Typical flow rates are approximately 0.2–0.3 mL/min, and the HPLC system must be capable of delivering stable and accurate low-flow performance for optimum results.

The RP Cyano™ Wide Pore stationary phase is not end capped and is frequently used for proteins, peptides, enzymes, natural products, and other larger polar or neutral compounds in reversed-phase HPLC and LC-MS applications. Compared to non-modified silica columns, it provides shorter retention times and faster equilibration between runs. Packed and shipped in reversed-phase solvents. See Cogent NP Cyano Columns Packed in Normal-Phase Solvents for applications requiring normal-phase chromatography.
