Cogent RP Cyano™ HPLC Columns are designed for reversed-phase separations of polar and neutral compounds where alternative selectivity to traditional alkyl-bonded phases is desired. Manufactured using ultra-high purity silica bonded with a three-carbon ligand and terminal Cyano functionality, this stationary phase provides unique chromatographic characteristics that make it an excellent choice for USP L10 methods. RP Cyano™ is often selected when shorter retention, rapid equilibration, and different selectivity than C18 columns are required.

68534-10P is packed with 5 µm RP Cyano™ particles in a 4.6 mm ID x 100 mm format with a 100Å pore size. The 5 µm particle size provides lower operating backpressure than smaller particles while maintaining excellent efficiency and reproducibility. The 100 mm length offers an excellent balance of analysis speed and chromatographic resolution, making it well suited for routine analytical methods, method development, and quality control laboratories.

The RP Cyano™ stationary phase is not end capped and is frequently used for analysis of polar and neutral compounds in reversed-phase HPLC.
