The 58720‑S‑C syringe features a 20 mL volume with a Luer Slip tip configuration and is supplied in packs of 100 syringes.
Unlike conventional disposable syringes that use rubber plunger tips, these syringes feature all‑plastic polypropylene and polyethylene construction. The plunger creates an efficient air‑tight seal through precision negative tolerance between the barrel and plunger tip, helping prevent sample bypass while minimizing exposure to reactive materials commonly found in traditional syringes.
A very small amount of inert, bio‑safe lubricant is used to provide smooth plunger movement and ease of operation.
These syringes are latex free and do not contain rubber, silicone oil, styrene, or DEHP commonly found in many disposable syringes. They are manufactured from laboratory grade polypropylene and polyethylene materials for improved chemical resistance compared to syringes with rubber‑tipped plungers.
