ARE-Applied Research PFA (Perfluoroalkyl) tubing is designed for low-pressure fluid transfer applications where excellent chemical resistance, high purity, and broad operating temperature capabilities are required. PFA tubing offers performance characteristics similar to PTFE (Teflon®) while providing lower permeability, greater transparency, and enhanced performance at elevated temperatures and pressures.
48335-65 is supplied as a convenient 5-meter roll of natural translucent PFA tubing with a 1/16 inch (1.6 mm) internal diameter and 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) outer diameter. The tubing is suitable for laboratory, analytical, and industrial applications requiring chemically inert fluid pathways and consistent dimensional tolerances.
PFA tubing combines excellent chemical resistance with visibility of fluid movement through the tubing wall. It is commonly used in HPLC systems, laboratory fluid handling, reagent transfer, and other applications where contamination resistance is critical.
Do not use this tubing at temperatures exceeding 260°C.
