The 48220-09 Mobile Phase Filter is a high-capacity 316L stainless steel solvent inlet filter engineered for efficient removal of large particulates and reliable solvent delivery in HPLC systems. Built for durability and high throughput, it protects pumps, columns, and instrumentation from contamination.

The 20 µm pore size removes larger undissolved particles while generating lower backpressure than 2 µm, 5 µm, or 10 µm filters, enabling improved solvent flow and vacuum efficiency.

Each filter is passivated with a 30% nitric acid treatment, enhancing corrosion resistance and ensuring compatibility with a wide range of HPLC solvents.

The integrated all‑PEEK tripod connector (3-step molded design) allows direct tubing connection without ferrules or nuts, supporting:

• 1/16 inch (1.6 mm) tubing

• 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) tubing

Designed for direct placement in mobile phase reservoirs, these filters are intended for inlet (vacuum) filtration only and are not recommended for sparging.
