The Cogent F5™ HPLC column is a pentafluoro phenyl (PFP) phase based on high purity type B silica. PFP columns are considered legacy technology in that they offer advantages for specific types of analytes and applications. It can be useful to differentiate between halogen bearing compounds and their analogs and positional isomers.
